Yes,

I have a Q.... by all means promote lubuntu as an XP replacement... but the
release of such a replacement will be the 14.04 LTS. As desktop releases
only have 9 months support, are you seriously going to argue that 13.10 is
a replacement and in 9 months time all support will be dropped? If they go
for a March launch, then the CD's will be unsupported by July 2014.....

I think that would be a VERY bad move.
