Phil,

I have unsuccessfully attempted to boot the Live CD on an almost daily  
basis. The last failure was yesterday using the July 10 iso. The bugs  
I am aware of are:

Bug# 1194319
Bug# 1195386
Bug# 1200304

I filed Bug#1200304 yesterday. It is marked private on my launchpad  
page, so I'm not sure who is able to view it. (It was automatically  
marked private. I didn't mark it that way.) I'm not sure if it's  
relevant to the booting issue, but it came up when I was attempting to  
get the GUI going.
