I'm going to be fairly blunt here.

I've read all of LXLE's announcements and they in no way violated the
Canonical / Ubuntu COC but some members of our team did. (You know who
you are)

First of all LXLE never represented themselves as a sanctioned member of
the Ubuntu family, remember when we were just another derivative?

We are open source and I see no indication that they violated any
policies whatsoever. They can choose to release any time they wish
regardless of whether we agree or disagree!

Nothing they do is a reflection on what we do, but our responses are a
direct refection on who we are as a team, and those responses reflect
not only on the individual but on every member of the team.

I personally don't want to be a member of a team that chooses to
alienate anyone, whether it be an individual end user or someone that
wants to create a respin as the the developer of LXLE has.

IMHO this whole thing should have ended before it began, but some
members of this team have been rude and violated our own COC :^(
