Re: please help testing the alternate iso, amd64+mac & armhf+ac100
Hi,
The 'Alternate Install (Encryption) in Lubuntu Alternate i386 for Saucy
Daily'
To my understanding the installation worked well. Max gave me the whole
drive.
There was only a minor obstacle: It is somewhat confusing at the
partitioning: The system complained about partition sda5, although I had
asked it to use the whole drive. I went back and wiped all partitions,
and there was still a complaint. Maybe because sda5 is to have the
'crypto-LUKS' file system. But the installation worked and a good
encrypted system was created with a master password before Lubuntu
itself was booted and in turn demanded a password.
The swap partition and zRAM are both working, PCmanFM is not crashing
when I 'eject the current partition' ...
-o-
And when booted from a pendrive, I could mount the small boot partition,
but it should contain no secrets. The real information is in sda5, which was
not mountable: mount returned this error output
mount: unknown filesystem type 'crypto-LUKS'
Best regards
Nio
