I'm not able to get past "Resizing partitions not an

in the powerpc Desktop image. I am not able to get it to find any
existing EXT4 partitions. One trial I did where I first installed an
EXT3 partition did get detected. But I don't know yet if it is an
issue
with finding EXT4 or if it is an intermittent bug.

Lars,
I got a different result with today's Live iso. (I couldn't use the
same iso as you because it had already disappeared from the tracker.)
I have a 120GB drive with an updated 13.10 installation, which I
installed from the 20131010 Live iso two days ago.
I tried today's Live iso--20131013. The installer recognized there was
already a system installed, and correctly presented all the
installation options.
I chose the "install alongside..." option, and the installer continued
to the resizing screen. At this point I quit the installation because
I didn't have time to complete it.
Best regards,
Keith Rogers
