need amd64+mac/ppc testers for tomorrow's release of alpha1

though we also need two i386 testcases to be taken care of, we also
need EVERY testcase for ppc and amd64+mac (do we even have anyone with
the specific intel mac hardware and cds to handle this?).

we need it today, too, so please test!
