Message #00182
Re: One Stop Thread
Section A of LubuntuLinks https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LubuntuLinks
had 23 links.
I removed the Lubuntu fan page on facebook, Lubuntu One Stop Thread on
Facebook, other stuff like Lubuntu tags on OMG Lubuntu,
and 9 other links.
Then I moved the links to the https://help.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu page
Yes, this is an intentional effort to make the LubuntuLinks page go away.
For example, the whole wiki is a how-to section. We don't also need a
how-to section for LubuntuLinks.
I'm not really sure where to put the Polls section of LubuntuLinks. I donno.
After that is decided, and I move the how-tos to the how-to's page,
there won't be much left.
Really this is about little decisions, and not any kind of political
thing against the page.
Links work well on the
https://help.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu page
Because of this and other small decisions mean that the LubuntuLinks
page is integrated into the wiki, and not as separate page.
That means the unique character of the LOST page will be lost, but it
also means the wiki gets better.
I hope everyone understands why the wiki needs to get better, and
adding an LubuntuLinks page isn't anyone's first choice for solving
the quality problem.
