Please keep trunk stable for this week

Hi all

Please QA your branches before landing on trunk this week.  We need to
keep trunk stable so that a package can be cut for uploading to utopic
in time for Final Freeze *Thursday*.

If anything looks bad and the original dev is not around, it'll probably
get reverted without much question.
