The MAAS team is proud to announce the release of 1.7.0.

The release includes some major new features since the 1.6 series, which 
includes:

 * Support for deploying OSes in addition to Ubuntu (Windows, CentOS, RHEL
   and SLES)
 * IPv6
 * Custom boot images
 * Node event logging
 * Increased robustness

and much more!

The Ubuntu package can be installed from the MAAS stable PPA which is made 
available by adding ppa:maas-maintainers/stable to your software sources.
