If you have api credentials to access vcenter/vsphere, you can use those in
MAAS. On the top right there is a "add hardware" or "add chassis" option
iirc. if you "add chassis", you can add a bunch of existing VMs at once,
and MAAS will then also know how to control the power of those VMs.
