If you have api credentials to access vcenter/vsphere, you can use
those in MAAS. On the top right there is a "add hardware" or "add
chassis" option iirc. if you "add chassis", you can add a bunch of
existing VMs at once, and MAAS will then also know how to control the
power of those VMs.

power control, manually i can boot a VM and maas enlist the node
then i have to boot the VM again to commission the node manually
and with over 60 VMs is not at exciting task to do. But then again
