[Bug 251219] Re: apple slim keyboard defaults to using a directional pad when it should default to a number pad

 

My personal preference is that it is left the way it is, and the user
should configure their system to have numlock on by default, but this is
not the first complaint I have heard about this operation (especially
since there are no arrows on the numberpad of these keyboards).

Bug description:
when i type on the number pad of my apple slim keyboard no number appear.  The number pad defaults to a directional pad until the "clear" button is pressed then it converts to a number pad.  Since there are no arrows on the directional keys I think the number pad should be enabled by default.
