[Bug 251219] Re: apple slim keyboard defaults to using a directional pad when it should default to a number pad
Justin, I understand this argument and I am not the one to decide either
way. My point was that it is not a matter of incorrect operation per se
(it functions as intended, just like it operates on other PC keyboards),
but rather that the default settings for this particular set of
keyboards (Apple's Aluminum keyboards) do not make sense for the
associated key markings. Thus, there is not really a package to mark
this as a bug against.

Bug description:
when i type on the number pad of my apple slim keyboard no number appear. The number pad defaults to a directional pad until the "clear" button is pressed then it converts to a number pad. Since there are no arrows on the directional keys I think the number pad should be enabled by default.
