Bug description:
Using up to date 8.04

What computer?
Early 2006 17" on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacBook_Pro#MacBook_Pro_17.22

Problem:
Plugging something into the line out is totally ignored by ubuntu. Meaning Macbook Pro users can't use headsets
