[Bug 434652] Re: Fan isn't working correctly on MacBook 5, 2

I am currently experiencing this same issue, which I don't believe is a
valid legit behavior. Additionally, the temperature sensors need a
translation table to identify what the various 'temp1' sensors
correspond to.

Is there a better bug to be tracking to cover this issue?

Bug description:
Binary package hint: acpi

The CPU fan on my laptop isn't working. This results in high (and potentially fatal) CPU temperatures. Running ubuntu for about 10 minutes and then restarting into OSX results in a lot of fan activity to try and cool down the overheated CPU. I am running 9.10
