Title:
New iMac (9,1, March 09) headphone jack works, speakers do not
Status in Mactel Support:
New
Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I got a new iMac, (version 9,1 March 09). Everything works perfectly
except the sound. Sound comes out of the headphone jack. Sound does
not come out of the speakers. I've tried numerous fixes, but I think
it comes down to the newest iMac hardware not being supported yet.
