[Bug 854596] Re: Keyboard back-light partially doesn't work on Macbook Pro 6, 2
And to make matters worse, when I do get to 0%, the alert image shows
100%.
This package is really wonky, to say the least.

Title:
Keyboard back-light partially doesn't work on Macbook Pro 6,2
Status in “pommed” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
1) $ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu oneiric (development branch)
Release: 11.10
It's daily updated
2) $ apt-cache policy pommed
pommed:
Installed: 1.39~dfsg-1
Candidate: 1.39~dfsg-1
Version table:
*** 1.39~dfsg-1 0
500 http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/universe i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3) On pressing F5 and F6 keys (Macbook Pro keys for adjusting keyboard backlight), I should be able to reach 0% and 100% keyboard backlight
4) -By continuously pressing F5 I can reach 0% keyboard backlight but the Gnome/Unity popup indicator shows 100%
-If I am at 0% keyboard back-light and press F6 once, I immediately reach about 100% keyboard back-light and need to press F5 up to the desired value
Please let me know if you need additional data and where to find it
