What exactly do you have in mind though? A new block that would
essentially just allow you to paste in some HTML code that you got from
another site?

Bug description:
In order for a Mahara site to tie together other social networking sites, it would be highly desirable (for our intended use) that a Mahara user can link to and embed outside web pages such as outside wiki or blog entries, facebook or twitter pages, etc on their views. The linking could be done along similar lines as in Moodle, i.e. opening the external page inline, allowing interaction with it.

I have never filed a feature request, so I am not sure this is the place, but here goes...
