This is caused by two different problems: the 'site unavailable' is
caused by a bug in the submit function (fixed now).

The second less serious problem is a mochikit thing that stops the enter key (connected to the search box) being detected properly in FF:
  http://mochikit.1045703.n5.nabble.com/Road-to-1-4-td2230989.html
So pressing enter submits the form in ff instead of searching.

I'll see if I can work around this.

Bug description:
On master.dev I've tried to add people to a controlled membership group via the multiple add feature.

When I search for a name, I get the error message: Master Branch: Site unavailable. A nonrecoverable error occured. This probably means you have encountered a bug in the system
