Hi Sam,
Files inside the dataroot directory should be writable by your system's webserver user. Files in the webserver document root just need to be readable.

The new site looks great. Thanks!
This is not a bug but a note on something that would be extremely helpful. When I upload your software I spend hours sorting through which files need read/ write access so that XML feeds, blogs, images etc work for users. Is it possible to get a list of which files need to be writable?
