[Bug 684556] Re: Group View cannot be made public
I've noticed that if you copy and paste the URL of a public group view
anyone access and even place feedback etc for that view (as expected).
The problem occurs when a user browses to the group and clicks on the
"Views" tab it says "None that you can see" even though they do have
access to see the view?
Thought I would clarify..

Title:
Group View cannot be made public
Status in Mahara ePortfolio:

Bug description:
I created a group and made a view in this group with "Public" access. I also set the drop down in the setup of the group to be publicably viewable. Another user (not a member of the group) then tried to look at this view but only saw the message "None that you can see...:("
For some reason when I use a "Secret URL" and log out I can see the view??
The only way that I can get a user to find and see a view is if they join the group.
Can this be fixed so that group work can be made publicably viewable?
Thanks,
Grant
