[Bug 725325] Re: Copying of files inside group view fails
I am trying to narrow this down: I was able to export a portfolio that
failed before after deleting files in the files area that had previously
come with a copied view. The copied view had been deleted but not the
files. There were also files that did not come from a copied view. I am
starting to doubt my initial observation that export only fails when
copied views are involved.
The copying of any group view does not always result in missing files
and failed exports and it is not on just one particular view/file.
Views copy correctly from a new group and then export properly even with the account that was not exporting properly before.
We don't see any error logs when we copy group views. Its almost as if it has to do with moving files in directories and deleting views but not the files or vice versa. We'll look some more for error logs.

Title:
Copying of files inside group view fails
Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
Incomplete
Bug description:
1.3.3
Linux
MySQL
LEAP2A and HTML portfolio exports fail every time if they contain one
or more views that have previously been copied out of a group. Once
those views are removed from the export list, the export proceeds and
imports flawlessly into a different mahara instance.
