Hello Roger and Kristina,

Safari has this functionality of automatically extracting downloaded
archives. This is in much the same way as it automatically mounts a disc
image (dmg) file. So in actual fact, a zip file is being created and
downloaded, but it is then immediately extracted, which is not helpful
in this case.

For this reason and more I choose to use another browser entirely on
Mac. I find Chrome/Chromium is a good choice, as it uses the same
rendering engine (with some differences, naturally).

  Export does not zip on Mac Safari 5.0.x

Bug description:
  The Export View, Export Collection and Export LEAP2A functions do not
  produce a zip file when used on Safari 5 on a Mac. Instead it exports
  a directory with content and sub-directories.

  Mahara 1.3.3
  Tested on OSX 10.6.6 (iMac) with Safari 5.0.3
  Also tested on Safari 5.0.1 (as reported by student)

  The same computers export zip fine using Firefox 
  (Have advised student to use Firefox for now).
