    Raise the password maximum length to 255 (bug #844488)
    
    Passphrases are better than passwords. Make it possible to have a
    passphrase longer than 40 characters. 255 varying characters ought
    to be enough for anybody.

Bug description:
  The maximum password is currently limited to 40 characters long. To
  encourage the use of passphrase style passwords
  (http://xkcd.com/936/), we should raise this limit to 255.
