appearance / disappearance of that option is confusing.

How about this instead:

    * Home is displayed but it's not a link when you're in your homedir
    * Home turns into a link when you enter subdirectory1
    * Subdirectory1 is not a link unless you enter once of its children suddirectories"

The reporter of this bug is happy with that solution, so we'll do that
instead.

  Home folder in the files area is confusing for some users

Bug description:
  A user said this:

  "At first I thought the Home hyperlink/button did not work, but then
  when I created folders I noticed it’s a breadcrumb nav tool.

  Home does not need to be there when you are at home because you click
  it & it does nothing.  Call it "My Files" or remove it."

  I'll submit a patch to hide the folder navigation when viewing the
  Home folder, however, if people think it'd be better to rename it to
  My Files, I'll do that instead, or we can do nothing.
