[Bug 547512] Re: Improve Granularity for Selecting Resume Items
** Description changed:
The current version of Mahara only allows users to select whole sections
of their resume to add to different Views, e.g. "Educational History".
However, not all items in each of these sections will be appropriate for
most views. If I have awards, education, and work histories that
involve education, photography, and programming, I don't want *all* of
those items showing up when I put together a portfolio for an education
job.
A good e-portfolio should allow the user to select the individual items
in a resume that are suited to a particular application or context, in
the same way that I can already choose which "bits" of my contact
details I want to display in a particular view.
Otherwise, a resume, which might have dozens of items in any of these
sections, will be horribly unfocused and will disadvantage its users in
any real-life application of their e-portfolio.
