Hi,
You need to click precisely in the top left corner of the box (unless using IE9 in compatibility mode or other browser - in which case anywhere in the box works). Main issue with text editor reported elsewhere on tracker -  contents of the text box that are edited/amended are wiped on saving when using IE9 - leaving just the header.

  ABSTRACT:

  During posting to Developer's forum at Mahara.org using MSIE9, the
  editor plugin would not allow writing into the fields.

  MAHARA VERSION:

  BROWSER VERSON:

  -MSIE9

  DESCRIPTION:

  It appears that it may be due to AJAX/HTML 5. The same issues are
  present in the latest WP version where the browser (MSIE7) would not
  correctly render the editor. In this case, when attempting to post the
  cursor would enter the textarea. As a workaround, I attempted to use
  the "paste from word" options. The effect is the same here as in WP,
  if it does post then it will enter the text in the editor otherwise
  the text simply disappears or never renders.

  Additionally in trying to get the teh text editor to render the text
  into the textarea, multiple reloads or trying to click in the textarea
  seemed to work.
