I can't reproduce this on 1.4.1 on my system: 
14.0.835.202 (Developer Build 103287 Linux) Built on Ubuntu 11.04, running on LinuxMint 11

But I do get the problem when on a site like: www.foliofor.me. which is
also running 1.4.1

Could it be to do with custom styles on the buttons? ?

  google chrome add image blocktype: buttons don't react

Bug description:
  When editing a view, and adding the blocktype: "Add Image", after the image has uploaded, the 'Select' button doesn't produce any changes visually. When clicking Save, the changes happen.
  using Chromium 12.0.742.91 (87961)
