Created something for testing.

Extract attached scratch.zip file into /htdocs/artefact/file/blocktypes/
This should produce scratch subfolder.

Than goto Mahara Administration and install the plugin.

Please test it and report back...
I know there are issues with IE (Applet shows over the block configuraton form!)

This is not yet publically release plugin. It is only for testing.
The version of the plugin is 1.0.0 valentine (although I may missed a day...)

  It would be useful to have a Scratch embed filter similar to the one
  in Moodle http://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=filter_scratch so
  that students can showcase their Scratch games via a Mahara page
