    Add read message icon to block and inbox for user messages (bug #852956)
    
    Also standardised alt text display between inbox and the blocktype
    as the block lacked alt text, but leaving it off would have
    left the block in state where the icons had no alt text. Unread
    icons would not be differentiated from read icons for screenreaders

  Change icon for read messages in "Recent activity / "My inbox"

Bug description:
  from a Mahara user:
  "I'd like to suggest that when messages are read, the icon automatically changes from a closed envelope to an open envelope.  I had several read messages but under "recent activity", the icon next to the message was a closed envelope which makes it difficult to see what is new and what is old."
