[Bug 1018252] Re: dataroot directory
Hi Sunil,
I think what you are trying to say is that you are unsure whether the
place you have chosen for the dataroot is good. This isn't a bug, and
should be asked in the support forums at
https://mahara.org/interaction/forum/view.php?id=2
As for my opinion, I would say that /var/data/localhost is alright, but
the actual location can depend on many factors, such as whether it is a
shared system, whether there are other web apps present, etc etc. I
would suggest asking your question in the forums and get some advice
there.

Bug description:
Exactly I don't know what is dataroot directory. I have ubuntu system
and I installed Mahara and placed the dataroot in
/var/data/localhost/
After setting this setting in config.php file,Mahara working file for me. Please let me, can this is perfect or not?
