iframe may come from several sources (mentioned above), because Google uses several domains and sub domains for Google Maps.
For example, if I enter 'www.google.com/maps' into address bar of Chrome or FF, search for a location, and then copy iframe HTML code, the src of iframe will be 'www.google.com/maps'. If I enter 'maps.google.com' then the src will change to 'maps.google.com/maps'.

Bug description:
  Hi guys I forgot to log this yesterday. Anyway I embedded a Google map
  as part of testing embedded media though the map is visible on IE I
  can't see it on FF, Chrome and Safari.
