Hi,
What can I do in the mean time?
A student has reports that they cannot see the "Enable Journals"
  option in their settings, so it must be enabled.

  However they only have the one journal with "New Entry" and "Settings"
  without any option to create a new journal, or see there other ones.

  This used to be visible to users under Settings - I can't find it
  there now.

  This is on myportfolio.school.nz site using 1.5.0dev - it is on the
  myportfolio.ac.nz site using the same version
