Unfortunately I am also without logs being on shared hosting :-/

I have checked usr.password in database before and after submitting the
NEW password. It does change. However neither the old one nor the new
one work.

  Mahara Version 1.5.3
  Plattform: LAMP
  Browser: Chrome

  After installing mahara it is not possible to change the admin's password. So I'm not able to log in.
  When submitting the the new password only the login screen appears. But nothing happens. The password is still the same.
