This should probably be extended to 'invite' groups as well, as user
can't join them directly or via site request.

Bug description:
  If there are too many visible controlled groups in the education
  environment, finding a group user can join might be difficult. It
  could be useful to have a option to search only groups user can
  actually join. This probably should be a default search setting.
