[Bug 1088096] Re: Changing drop-down menu in Edit site pages (/admin/site/pages.php) doesn't update the related content in iOS

I can confirm the same behavior on Android ICS 4.0.4:
Device detection turned on:
You can select a different page in the drop-down menu, but the editor window doesn't update to the changed text. Additionally, when I make a change to the text and save it, I get the default error message of "A nonrecoverable error occurred. This probably means...". Interestingly enough though, the change is saved and there is a partial confirmation message in the green bar above the error message with a check mark and the letter P, but nothing else.
Device detection turned off:
Everything works normally and the confirmation message reads "Page saved".

Bug description:
Changing drop-down menu in Edit site pages (/admin/site/pages.php)
doesn't update the related content in the text editor, when the
'mobile detection' is turned on. I could check this only on my iPad.
Version: 1.6.x
OS: Ubuntu 12.04.1
DB: Postgres 9.1
Browser: Safari (iOS) and Chrome (iOS)
