Hi, I would just like to share my proposed solution for this one.

I could have put this solution into codes but I still have a lot of
tracing/studying to do with Mahara's codes as most of them are not
documented. I'm just new with Mahara but I would like to contribute to
its development.

Title:
  Go back to the page on which you had started

Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  When you have multiple pages of notes or portfolios, e.g. 13, and you
  delete a note from say page 10, you are taken back to page 1 after you
  deleted the note instead of being taken back to page 10. It would be
  good to go back to the original page, in this case 10, to continue
  where you left off.
