I've taken what Jose Fontanilla began and reworked it a bit and submitted it

This only works for the deleting of pages.

The notes deletion works in a different way (delete via form
submission).

  Go back to the page on which you had started

Status in Mahara ePortfolio:

Bug description:
  When you have multiple pages of notes or portfolios, e.g. 13, and you
  delete a note from say page 10, you are taken back to page 1 after you
  deleted the note instead of being taken back to page 10. It would be
  good to go back to the original page, in this case 10, to continue
  where you left off.
