Confirmed, these strings are not showing up in
https://translations.launchpad.net/mahara-lang/, and they should be
showing up because the commit was merged into the "master" branch
several days ago.

This may be related to the problems we've been having with the langpacks
script sometimes failing to update langpacks.mahara.org with the latest
data from Launchpad.

  I don't remember having translated the strings of the Page Skin new
  feature for 1.8. I don't find them either when I do a lookup on the
  master langpack version in Launchpad.

  Are they in core ?
