Hello Fran,

Thank you for your report. I don't see the filed category for group CSV
creation either. However, I can choose the category after having created
the group when I go to the "Edit group" screen. I tested it in 1.7 and
1.8.

Thus, I renamed the report to the wishlist item to allow to add a
category to a group during CSV creation.

  feature request:

  currently, (based on my limited knowledge) the only way to assign a
  category to a group is by creating the group manually. There is no way
  to assign a category when creating groups by csv upload, nor is there
  a way to edit an existing group and assign a category to it.

  (I have tried the latter and get an "access denied" message in
  response - and i am an administrator of our local installation. I've
  also asked the group admin to try, and she also had the same result.)
