Thank you for clarifying what you mean, Stéphane.

There is a wishlist item about breadcrumbs at bugs #784960 which could
solve some issues, but not all of them of course. A third-level
navigation is a bit tricky as not everyone works with drop-down menus,
but we also have the tabbed navigation.

  navigation in journals

Bug description:
  When you choose one journal, you can see the list of articles in this
  journal.

  1) It would be nice to implement in a journal :
  a. the list of articles with titles, date and status
  b. Each article should be contracted with the possibility to expand it
  c. this list should have a sorting option by title, by date, by status

  2) When multiple journals is on, there is no one click mecanism to
  switch from one journal to another. WE should have a list of journals
  displayed somehow or somewhere.
