[Bug 643665] Re: Insert Image icon in TinyMCE differs on some pages
The way we add images that have been uploaded into a journal entry isn't
ideal as you first need to attach the image to the entry and only then
do you see it in the drop-down menu in the custom TinyMCE. We've been
discussing this issue elsewhere and it should be easier to include
images into journal entries or even notes in an easier way then first
having to attach them to the entry.
I'd vote for rethinking the adding of an image into a textbox instead of
continuing to use a hack that is not so user-friendly.

Title:
Insert Image icon in TinyMCE differs on some pages
Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
Confirmed
Bug description:
The TinyMCE insert image dialogue differs on Blog Post to other
locations (e.g. place feedback). IMO this is a usability bug as users
will expect it to be the same everywhere (I did!).
Since feedback can include uploaded files, I'd favour use of the same
image dialogue as the blog post in the feedback section to allow
easier inclusion of inline images - perhaps there's a pedagogical
reason for not doing so though?
