Hi Robert,

What this issue is discussing (as I recall from the forums) is the idea
of creating a Block plugin, for displaying the login form.

I.e., instead of the login form showing up in the sideblock (as it does
on the home page), it'd be a block that you can drop into a Page. And
then for each of your institutions you could create an institution-
specific login page, by creating a Page, making it Public, and putting
the login Block on that Page along with some other Blocks explaining how
to log in for that institution.

I think the feature is probably too obscure to go in Mahara core,
though. It would make more sense as an optional plugin.

Bug description:
  It would be useful to have a login block that could be placed on pages
  such as public institution pages, without having to go to the logged
  out home page.

  Combined with features such as isolated themes and institution-
  specific Dashboard content*, users could have a more focused/usable
  institutional experience.
