[Bug 1301661] Re: Page management improvements required

Thanks for this info, Tobias!

As I understand, users don't really need to press "Done" to save page
after editing content. It is saved automatically and the button is there
just to let users know that editing is done.

I would really want to make it all look/behave consistent :)

Yuliya

Title:
  Page management improvements required

Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
  New

Bug description:
I'd like to suggest a number of improvements around a single page
  management:

  1. "Display page" should be called "Preview page" (and should probably
go after "Share page"). I think the idea behind the order was that
user wants to have a look what they made and then share, but without
tabs menu this idea is completely lost.

  2. Therefore, tabs should appear on every page when a page is being
edited. Currently it is very confusing that when you click "sharing"
for a page, it doesn't show the other buttons "edit layout", "edit
  content" etc.

  3. Preview could reuse 'view/view.php?mode=preview' or smth similar to
  show tabs.

  4. Everywhere there is "Save" button, but on "Edit content" it is
"Done" and when you click it, it navigates you to "All pages" page. It
should go to "Preview" and be called "Save". Or maybe there should be
2 options "Save and share" and "Save and preview", but I don't think
  it's necessary...
