Hi Marius,

The profile information is loaded and changed with javascript to display
parts of it via the tabs 'About me', 'Contact information', 'Messaging',
and General. By the sounds of your error it is like the javascript part
is not present or is not working correctly. Can you confirm that the
file 'js/tabs.js' is present and being loaded by the page? Or if there
is any javascript errors being reported by a browser.

Also does this happen for all profiles or just certain ones? Could the
data stored in the profile be causing problems? Does it have any special
characters, words with an umlaut, circumflex, tilde etc.?

  1.9rcs1 Profile page not loading

Status in Mahara ePortfolio:

Bug description:
  Upgraded my 1.8.1 to 1.9rc1. When loading my profile from the menu
  (myinstalation.com/artefact/internal/index.php) it just says
  "loading..." without nothing being displayed. Tried it Chrome, IE10
  and Firefox and same result
