I feel that it needs to be changed - as the popup on focus is annoying
when adding view access options

And seen it is an easy change handled by the datepicker UI, I'll make it
only popup on the calendar icon

  1.10RC1

  When adding someone to have access to a page, the calendar picker
  becomes visible directly because the focus is put onto the calendar
  field. I think this is not good because often you don't add a starting
  date for access to a page. Thus, you'll need to click out of the field
  to make the calendar go away.
