Message #21028
[Bug 1377544] Re: Group member receives page access notification for page they created
Tested on "master" branch. Before patch members who created a page in a
group would receive a notification about it. After Patch the bug has not
occurred. This were my manual steps:
- Pull master code ( I also used Mahara version 1.11.0dev ( 2014092500))
- Logged in as admin.
- Created an Open group called: "Testing Bug 1377544". With all default setting, so no changes made
- Save the group settings.
- Go to Administration
- Create a User called "Jen"
- Logged out as admin
- Logged in as user “Jen”
- Joined the group “Testing Bug 1377544”
- Created a page inside the group called “Testing Bug 09/10/2014” with default settings, nothing changed
- Run cron manually
- Received a notification saying:
“Subject: New access to page "Testing Bug 09/10/2014 (2)"
You have been added to the access list for the page "Testing Bug 09/10/2014" by Testing Bug 09/10/2014”
