Thanks for the bug report!

The calendar actually wasn't supposed to auto-open at all, for either
field. That was a temporary bug which we've since fixed in the latest
version (which isn't deployed to master.dev yet ;) ).

  Calendar defaults in sharing page

Status in Mahara ePortfolio:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  When sharing a page, calendar is selected by default. This is great,
  however, access end date is not selected. I found myself setting a
  access start date but not an end date. One assumes that when wanting
  to share, I want to share right now. My preference would be to have
  the access end date selected, if anything at all.
