Hi Jinelle,

I couldn't replicate this problem. Here's what I did:

1. Clean Mahara install
2. Go to Administration -> Users -> Add users by CSV
3. Upload a file with three users in it
4. Check my Mahara inbox to see how many notifications I got

I didn't receive any notifications.

I think you may be referring to the emails that the new users receive?
If that's the case, you can avoid getting those by unticking the "Email
users about their account" box on the Upload by CSV page.

  Upload via csv successful notifications

Bug description:
  Hi all,

  When we upload users (thousands) via CSV we get notifications for
  every one of them to say they have uploaded successfully. When you're
  uploading heaps, that can be a lot of scrolling.

  Is there a way we can make this nicer, eg Just have one notification
  message to say that it's uploaded successfully and go check the user
  page to see your new users. So then they can make sure that everyone's
  there?

  You guys will have a better idea, but the individual notifications are
  a bit messy.
