[Bug 1189073] Re: Google API changes that prevent editing of files

A bigger issue with the Google Apps block came to light when I tested it
with a student on the iPad. Neither accessing a file via the web nor via
the app allowed us to select "Publish for the web" which we need for the
Google Apps block in Mahara to display a Google file. She could only get
the link to the document but not the iframe code thus not even being
able to use the Google code entered via an allowed iframe.

With the restrictions that Google put in place for mobile users, they
can't share their documents. If we leave the Google Apps block in place,
we might need to review the sharing options there and see if we can work
with the link and embed option without having to go via "Publish to the
web". That is still available, but these days, most people just generate
the link or an embed code and share that without bothering about
"Publish to the web".

Title:
Google API changes that prevent editing of files

Status in Mahara:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  https://mahara.org/interaction/forum/topic.php?id=5488

Seems like Google made yet another change and our filters for the
  Google Apps block are outdated.

  To discuss:
  1) Update the filters
  2) Deprecate the block for 1.8
